If you ever find yourself in Kaloor, you’ve probably walked right past the Mathewsons Building without thinking much of it. That’s where we are, Mathewsons Exports & Imports (P) Ltd. It’s a busy spot, and the traffic outside never really seems to quiet down. We spend most of our mornings just trying to find a place to park or navigating through the crowd. Inside the office, it’s a mix of old files and computers that have seen better days. We handle a lot of moving parts here, sending things out and bringing things in. It’s mostly paperwork and phone calls that don't seem to end. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there waiting for the backup to kick in, chatting about what we’re having for lunch. We aren't big on fancy titles or anything. Everyone just chips in where they can. The building itself has been around for quite some time, and it has that specific feel of a place where a lot of work actually gets done. It’s not a shiny corporate park; it’s just a solid place in a loud part of town. We stay pretty busy, but we always have time for a quick break when the tea guy comes around. It’s just how we run things. Nothing too complicated, just daily work in the middle of Kaloor. There is always something that needs fixing or an email that needs an answer right away.
