CD LAM

CD Lam is situated over at 41/1492-A on C.P. Ummer Road in Kochi. If you know Kochi, you know that this road can get quite packed with vehicles and people throughout the day. Our place is pretty straightforward; we have our equipment set up for lamination and whatever else needs doing. The air is often a bit humid, which is just standard for around here, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We have stacks of different materials leaning against the walls, and the cutting table usually has something sitting on it. It’s not a massive space, so we have to be careful not to trip over the cords or the boxes on the floor. Most of our customers are locals who drop by with something they need covered or protected. We spend a lot of our time standing at the machines or chatting with people who come in off the street. There is a small shop nearby where we grab tea in the afternoons when the sun is particularly hot. We don’t go in for fancy decorations or big advertisements. We just have our name on the front and we do the work as it comes in. It’s a practical business, and we just focus on getting through the daily tasks without making much of a fuss. It’s just what we do here on C.P. Ummer Road, day in and day out.
