Nasrani Kitchen

Nasrani Kitchen is right on K K Road in Kadavanthara. If you know where the passport office is, then you have basically found us already. We are just a short walk from there. It’s a busy part of Ernakulam, so there are always people rushing around outside. We opened this kitchen because we wanted to share the kind of food we grew up with. It’s not a fancy restaurant with white tablecloths and waiters in suits. It’s more of a place where you can just sit down and get a real meal. We spend a lot of time in the back getting the spices right and making sure the pots are simmering like they should. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially around lunchtime when the office crowds come in all at once. We might run a bit behind when it’s packed, but we try our best to get the food out hot. We don't have a big corporate office or anyone telling us how to talk to customers. It’s just us, the cooks and the few people out front. We like it that way because it feels more real. If you’re around the passport office and feeling hungry, you can just pop in. We don't make things complicated. It’s just good, honest food served in a simple setting by people who actually live here in the neighborhood. We keep things humble.
