Abraham`S Lotus Caterers

The kitchen gets started really early here in Kadavanthra. By the time most people are waking up, we've already got the big burners going and the prep work is well underway. Abraham’s Lotus Caterers is basically run out of this space where we do all the cooking and storage. It’s a bit of a maze with all the large pots, crates of vegetables, and stacks of plates. Kadavanthra Kadavanthara is a busy area, but once you step inside our place, it’s all about the food. I usually spend my morning chopping or checking on the rice. We don’t really have a front office where you sit down and talk; people usually just come to the back or call us on the phone. It’s sweaty work and my apron is never clean for long, but that’s just how it goes in this line of business. We do a lot of local functions, weddings, and small gatherings nearby. Sometimes we are packing up the vans at midnight after a long day. It isn't glamorous at all. There’s always washing up to do and floor to scrub. We don't have a big marketing plan or a fancy website. Word of mouth around the neighborhood is usually how we get our next job. We just focus on getting the orders out on time and making sure there’s enough to go around for everyone at the party. It is a simple life but it keeps us very busy every day of the week.
