Aysha Food Products

You can find us over in Alfia nagar, which is located along the Cochin university road in the kalamassery area. It’s a bit of a student neighborhood, so there are always people walking by on their way to classes. Aysha Food Products is tucked away in a spot that doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside, we have a small kitchen setup and a dedicated space for packing. We aren't a big factory or anything, just a small group of people working together to get things prepared. The humidity in kalamassery can be quite high, which makes the work in the kitchen area feel even hotter than it really is. We spend most of our time measuring out ingredients and sealing up bags. There is a lot of washing up to do at the end of every day, which is probably the part of the job that no one likes very much. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to take fancy photos; we just focus on the actual work of making the products. The Cochin university road stays busy until late at night, so there is always noise from the scooters and buses. We just keep to our routine in Alfia nagar, starting early and finishing up once all the orders for the day are boxed and ready to go. It’s just a small, local food business run by people who live right here in the community.
