Aquinas College

Aquinas College is down in Edacochin, right in the Kochi area. Being in Kerala, we get a lot of rain and the surroundings are usually pretty green. The campus isn't some massive modern structure; it's more of a traditional setup that has been here for years. You can feel the salt in the air sometimes because we aren't far from the water. Students come in from all parts of Kochi and even from further out using the local buses. It’s a busy place in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get to their lectures. The classrooms have high ceilings and fans that keep things moving, though it still gets sticky in the summer. We have the usual stuff like a library and some labs, but nothing that looks like a corporate office. It’s more of a community feel here. The teachers and the office staff have been around for quite a bit, so they know how things work. You might see students sitting in the shade talking or finishing up their assignments before the next bell. It is just a regular college where people come to get their degrees and move on to the next thing in life. No one is trying to be fancy. It’s just about the daily work of teaching and learning in our corner of Edacochin.
