You’ll find us on the ground floor of V3S Mall in Lakshmi Nagar. Being in a mall means we get a lot of people who are just tired from shopping and need to sit down for a bit. The space is fairly large, but it can fill up fast on a Saturday afternoon. We have a lot of tables and the chairs are sturdy enough for kids to climb on. The kitchen is right at the back, and you can hear the clatter of pans and the chefs shouting out orders when it’s busy. We don't go for anything too fancy with the plating; we just put the food on the plate and get it out to the table while it’s hot. The floors are tile, so they’re easy to mop, which we have to do a lot because of all the people walking in from the mall hallways. Our staff are mostly young people from around the neighborhood. They’re good workers even if they forget a spoon every now and then. We don't have a mission statement or any of those corporate posters. We just want to serve a meal that tastes like it was made properly. Sometimes the mall music leaks in through the front, which can be a bit annoying, but we just turn our own music up to cover it. It’s a lively spot for the neighborhood.
