Devyani International Ltd ( Pizza Hut)

This Pizza Hut branch is tucked away in Shakarpur, specifically at Ganesh Nagar-II. It is actually registered care of Mr. Shiv Kumar Sharma at house number 431 A. If you know the area, it is pretty packed with people and traffic most of the time. We spend most of our hours here getting pizzas ready and making sure the delivery guys get out on time. It is not one of those massive flagship stores you see in the big malls, but we stay busy enough for our size. The kitchen gets really hot and there is always a bit of flour on the floor by mid-afternoon. We are part of Devyani International, but on the ground here in Delhi, it feels more like a local shop. I usually get in early to check the dough and see if the ovens are heating up right. Shakarpur is a lively neighborhood, so there is always something happening right outside the door. We don't have some fancy philosophy; we just make the food and try to get the orders right. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is quiet enough to actually sit down for five minutes. We have been at this address for a while now. Dealing with the local crowd means you see all sorts of people every day. It is hard work, especially when it is raining and everyone wants a pizza at the same time. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
