Gupta Sweet Palace

We are located at Jalebi Chowk in Kalyanpuri. People know the spot well because of the name. Gupta Sweet Palace has been a part of this corner for quite some time. It's usually a bit chaotic around here with the traffic and the noise. We focus on traditional stuff. Most mornings we start early to get the syrup ready and the dough prepped for the day. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work. We have large trays of different sweets lined up. Some days the flies are a bit of a nuisance but we keep things covered as best as we can. It’s a local place through and through. We don’t really do fancy packaging. Just the standard boxes and bags. The floor is concrete and we've got a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long. It’s not the quietest place to work. We see a lot of the same people every day. Workers, kids coming home from school, everyone stops by. Being at Jalebi Chowk means there's always something going on outside. We try to keep prices fair so people keep coming back. It’s hard work standing on your feet all day by the hot stoves. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just open the shutters and start the day. Kalyanpuri is a busy area and we're just one small part of it. We like it that way and hope it stays like this.
