Atreyee Exports

Our place, Atreyee Exports, is located over at Samaspur D-11. We have been operating from this exact location for several years now. It is mostly used as a space for keeping goods before they get sent off to wherever they are going. We deal with a whole lot of paperwork because exporting items involves many different rules and government forms. The warehouse part of the building is usually very crowded with wooden crates and cardboard boxes stacked up high. We try to keep a narrow aisle clear so we can actually walk through the space, but it is difficult when a large new shipment arrives. It is just a small team of us working here. We do all the packing, the labeling, and the counting of the inventory ourselves. Sometimes we have to stay here late into the night if a truck is scheduled to come very early the next morning. It is not the kind of job where you get to sit down for very long. There is always some heavy box that needs to be moved or a shipping document that needs a final signature. The area around Samaspur is always busy, so there is constant noise coming in from the street. We have definitely gotten used to the sound of horns over the years. We aren't fancy people and we usually just wear old, comfortable clothes because the work is physical. Sometimes we have a quick tea together and talk about how the day is going. It is a modest setup, but it works.
