Tarun Exports

Tarun Exports is based at D-110 in the Anand Vihar area. It is a pretty standard setup in a part of town that most people know well. We handle all sorts of different goods for export. Mostly we spend our time coordinating between the local producers here and the people who need the goods overseas. The office is often filled up with cardboard boxes and samples of whatever we are moving during that particular week. It is not the most organized looking place in the world, but we have a system that works for us. We spend a lot of our time on the phone talking to shipping agents and people at the customs office. It can be a real headache sometimes with all the paperwork that is required to move things across borders. We do not have a big glossy brochure to show people. We just rely on the various contacts we have built up over the many years we have been doing this. Most of the people we work with are just like us. They are trying to run a small business and take care of their families. Anand Vihar is a good location for us because it is relatively easy to get to different parts of the city from here. We have a very small team here. Sometimes we just sit around and drink tea while waiting for a confirmation on a shipment. It is a mix of quiet times and total chaos.
