You can find us at Shop No A/69 in Guru Nanak Pura, right along the Main Vikas Marg in Lakshmi Nagar. Being on such a busy road means there is never a quiet moment. We’ve been operating Nupur Enterprises from this little corner for years. The shop is packed with all sorts of items, and sometimes it feels like the walls are closing in because of all the stock. We don't have a fancy layout or any professional decorators. We just put things where they fit. My brother and I usually take turns at the counter. The metro station isn't far, so we see a lot of people rushing past every morning. Sometimes they pop in for a quick purchase. The floor is a bit worn out from all the feet walking in and out. We don't really do much advertising; people just know we are here. In the afternoons, when it gets really hot, we keep the door halfway shut to stay cool. We have a small ledger where we write down everything we sell. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. Sometimes we run out of popular items and have to wait for the next delivery truck to navigate the Vikas Marg traffic. It’s just a normal, hardworking shop in a very busy part of Delhi. We don't aim for anything fancy, just keeping the business running and helping the people who walk through our door.
