Navrang Handicrafts

Navrang Handicrafts is situated at 68-B Kishan Kunj Extension, Part 2, in the Laxmi Nagar area. This part of Laxmi Nagar is quite crowded, and our workshop is tucked into the lanes where there is always something going on. We work on a variety of handicrafts here. It’s mostly small-scale work that we do with a few local workers who have been with us for a while. The space is a bit tight, especially when we get new materials delivered, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time on the details of the products, even if they aren't meant to be perfect. That’s the thing with handicrafts; they have a bit of character because they aren't made by a robot. We get a lot of walk-in traffic from people living in the Kishan Kunj extension. It’s a friendly neighborhood once you get to know the people. We don't have a website or any of those modern things. If someone wants to see what we have, they just come by the shop and take a look at the shelves. We usually have the radio playing while we work. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way. We don't need to be the biggest shop in Delhi, we just want to do our daily work and provide for our families. It’s a quiet life of making things and we are okay with that as long as we stay busy.
