Lucknow Handicrafts

Lucknow Handicrafts is found at No. 45 Park End, right along the Vikas Marg. Being on Vikas Marg means we see a lot of people passing by every single day. Our shop is focused on bringing a bit of that Lucknow style work to this part of the city. We have a lot of items that show off the traditional skills of the artisans we work with. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every inch of the walls to show what we have. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have more than three customers in at once, but it makes for a nice atmosphere. We spend a lot of time talking to people about the work that goes into each piece. It’s not just a job for us; it’s what we’ve been doing for a long time. The traffic on Vikas Marg can be quite loud, but once you step inside, it feels a bit more relaxed. We don't have any fancy mission statements or things like that. We just want to sell nice things that people can enjoy in their homes. Some days are better than others, especially when the festivals are coming up and everyone is looking for gifts. We just take things one day at a time and try to be helpful to anyone who walks through the door. It’s a straightforward business and we plan to stay here at Park End for the future.
