Rudra Traders

Rudra Traders is tucked into the Bengal Ambuja complex at City Center, which is usually a pretty busy part of West Burdwan. Being at Ucp 29 puts us quite close to the Ambuja Kalibari, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and people moving around the area. It’s a different vibe than being out in the country because everything is so close together here. We spend a lot of our time trying to fit all our stock into the space we have, which is always a bit of a puzzle. The city noise is constant, with cars honking and people shouting, but you get used to it after a few months. We see all sorts of people coming through the City Center, some looking for specific items and others just browsing because they happened to be near the temple. It gets busy in the evenings when everyone is off work and running errands before going home. My hands are usually a bit dirty from moving boxes and checking the inventory, but that’s just how it goes. We don't have a big corporate setup, just a small shop where we try to keep track of everything on paper and make sure we don't run out of the things people ask for most. It’s a lot of work to keep up with the pace of the city center, but we stay until the lights go down and the temple gets quiet. It's just a regular city shop life.
