Our branch of Lafarge India Pvt Limited is situated at 4/15, Rocky Path, right in the City Centre area of Durgapur. Being in Durgapur, we are surrounded by a lot of industry and construction, so our office stays right in the middle of all that activity. Rocky Path is a decent spot, easy enough for people to find when they need to talk about cement supplies for their projects. The office itself is pretty basic. We have got our desks set up and the phones are usually going with calls from contractors or the main plants. We do not spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders because we are mostly busy checking numbers and making sure the delivery trucks are on the right schedule. Durgapur is a place where people appreciate a direct answer, and that is how we try to operate. We talk to the drivers, handle the billing, and make sure everything stays on track. The weather can get pretty intense here, especially in the summer, so we just focus on staying cool and getting through the workday.
