Babu Suppliers

Babu Suppliers is located in Gandhi Mote, which is part of the Nayabazar area. We are near the GTPS post office in the Paschim Burdwan district. This is a busy market area, so there are always people moving about and bikes parked everywhere. We act as suppliers for various goods, which means our small space is often crammed with all sorts of things waiting to be delivered. It’s a bit of a squeeze when a new shipment arrives, and we often have to move things out onto the sidewalk just to get around. We don't have any fancy displays or a showroom. It’s just a place where we keep the stock and handle the paperwork. The walls are a bit peeling and the floor is worn down from all the boots walking over it. We’ve been here for years, and most of the locals know us by name. We don’t use any complicated systems; we mostly write things down in a ledger and check them off as they go out. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for a local business like ours. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s a slow-paced life in some ways, but we always have something to do. Nayabazar is a lively place to be stationed, and we enjoy being right in the middle of it.
