Sri Maharishi Vidya Mandir Residential School

Our school is out in Seelapadi, specifically on Odaipatti Pirivu Street in Dindigul. It is a bit of a different vibe here since it is a residential place, so there are kids here all the time, not just during the day. The campus has a lot of open space which is good because it doesn't feel cramped like the schools in the middle of the city. We wake up pretty early to get things started. There is always a routine with breakfast and getting everyone ready for their classes. The buildings are plain and solid, painted in simple colors that don't stand out too much. We have a lot of trees around, so there is some shade when the sun is out, which happens a lot in Dindigul. It takes a lot of work to keep the residential areas clean and running smoothly. We are constantly checking the kitchen or the dorms to see if anything needs fixing. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s a busy one. Most of the staff lives here or nearby, so we are like a big group that just knows how each other works. We don't use much technology for the sake of it; we just use what we need. People from the village often pass by the gate, and we know many of them by name. It is just a steady, everyday kind of place.
