Down in Muthu Thangam Nagar, our school sits on a decent piece of land in Nilakottai. It is a quiet area mostly, which is good for the students when they are trying to focus. Dindigul can get quite hot, so the trees we have in the yard are pretty important. The kids play there during the breaks. We have primary classes and the older ones too. Most of the staff live around here, so they know the families well. It’s a standard setup with classrooms, a small lab, and a place for the morning assembly. We don't have those fancy air-conditioned rooms you see in the cities. Just fans and open windows to catch whatever breeze comes through. The day starts with the bell ringing and then you hear the kids reciting their lessons. It's a bit noisy, but that's how a school should be. Sometimes the local cows wander near the gate, and we have to shoo them away. We do the regular matriculation syllabus. It’s a lot of work for the students, especially when the board exams get close. You see them staying back for extra study sessions. We don't make big promises about being the number one school. We just provide a place for the children in Nilakottai to get their education without having to travel too far. It's a simple life here, and we just keep things running day by day.
