Kendriya Vidyalaya School

We are located out on the Gri Campus along Madurai Road. Being in Gandhi Gram, we’re a bit away from the main crush of Dindigul city, but the road out here stays busy with trucks and buses. The school has a big open feel to it because of the campus layout. You’ll see students in their uniforms walking between buildings or hanging out near the main gate. It’s a government school setup, so everything is very standard and functional. No fancy decorations, just classrooms with rows of wooden benches and big windows to let in the breeze. The weather gets quite hot in this part of Tamil Nadu, so those windows are important. We have a large ground where the kids do their physical training and play games in the afternoons. It’s a lot of space to look after, and sometimes the grass grows a bit long before it gets trimmed. Teachers here have been around for years, and they know the routine inside out. Morning assembly is the loudest part of the day, with everyone lined up and the principal making announcements over a crackly speaker. After that, it settles into the usual hum of lessons. We deal with the usual school stuff—lost water bottles, forgotten homework, and the occasional rainy day that turns the ground muddy. It’s just a regular place for regular education in our community.
