Achyuta Public School

Down on Thadi Kombu Road in Dindigul, you’ll see our gate. Achyuta Public School is a place where things are kept pretty simple. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s just a school with classrooms and a bunch of students trying to learn their lessons every day. The morning starts with the usual bustle of buses and parents on scooters. We’ve got the basic facilities, nothing too over the top, just what’s needed for a proper education. The walls have some charts pinned up and the floors are swept every evening. It’s a bit of a walk from the main center, but people know the way. We see the same faces every morning and it’s nice to know the families around here. The teachers just get on with their subjects without making a big deal out of it. We have a small area for sports and the kids seem to enjoy their time there when they aren't stuck inside with their books. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud when it’s hot, but we all just work through it. It’s an everyday kind of place. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just a solid building and a schedule that we stick to. People in Dindigul look for something reliable and that’s what we try to be day in and day out. It’s just school life, plain and simple.
