Shri Gurumuki Vidhyashram School

Shri Gurumuki Vidhyashram School is out in Thadikombu, which is a bit away from the main Dindigul city buzz. We are at No 1395. The air is a little clearer out here, which is nice for the children. We have a good amount of space for a school. Most of our students come from the nearby villages and the surrounding area. They arrive by bus or cycle every morning. The atmosphere is quite plain and simple. We do not have fancy air conditioning or expensive sports equipment. We have classrooms, some play area, and teachers who actually care about whether a student is learning or not. Sometimes we have to be a bit firm with the kids to keep them focused, but that is normal. We hold regular classes and follow the standard curriculum. Parents often stop by on their way to the market to ask how their child is doing. We like that because it keeps everyone on the same page. The school building is sturdy and does its job. We spend our days grading papers, teaching lessons, and making sure the school yard is kept relatively clean. It is a steady pace of life. Nothing too exciting happens most days, just the regular cycle of lessons and exams. We are just a local school trying to help the kids in Thadikombu get a decent start in life before they head to the city.
