Udupi Kanaka Hotel

You’ll find us on P B Road in Hubli, quite close to SDM College. Being near a college means we see a lot of students and young people throughout the day. The road is one of the main ones, so there’s always a lot of traffic passing by. Udupi Kanaka Hotel is just a standard place to get some food. We aren't a big fancy hotel with lots of rooms; we're more of a local eatery where people stop in. The chairs are a bit old and the menu hasn't really changed in a long time. We like it that way. It’s familiar for the regulars who come in every single day. The kitchen is always busy, especially when the college classes let out for the day. We have to work fast then to keep everyone happy. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy when it rains outside and people trek in mud, but we try to keep on top of it. It’s a simple life running a place like this. We know many of our customers by their names. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or colorful posters to get people in. The food on the plate is what really matters at the end of the day. We just keep the stove hot and the water glasses full for whoever walks in. It’s a noisy, busy spot on a main road, and that’s just how it’s always been for us here.
