Fish Land Restaurant

We are located in the Jartharghar Building over by the New Cotton Market in Hubli. If you know where Peacock Lodge is, we are right across from it. The market area is always loud and full of energy, which we like. We’ve been serving food here for some time now. Our place is known for seafood, even though we are in the middle of the city. We get the fish brought in and start the cooking early. The dining room has regular tables and chairs, nothing special to look at. We think the food should be the main thing. Usually, the lunch hour is our busiest time. Workers from the market and people traveling through Hubli stop in. We try to keep the prices fair. It’s a family-run operation. My cousin helps out in the front and I’m usually in the back making sure the curries are right. We don’t have a big corporate team. It’s just us. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the market was slow that day. We try to keep things honest. If you are near the Cotton Market and feeling hungry, you can find us easily. It might be a bit noisy outside, but it’s a good spot to sit for a bit and eat. The New Cotton Market is such a landmark in Hubli. Being across from the Peacock Lodge helps people find us when they are visiting from out of town. We get travelers.
