You can find us in Dharwad at Diamond Corner on Line Bazaar Road. We are quite close to the Hanuman Temple, which is how most folks find us. Line Bazaar is always a bit noisy with traffic and people walking by. Our place isn’t very big, but we’ve got enough room for the locals who come in. The area code is 580001. We focus on the things we know how to cook well. We don't try to make dishes from all over the world. It’s mostly local stuff that people expect. The kitchen is small but we keep it organized. We go through a lot of milk and vegetables every day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to use candles or lanterns, but we keep the kitchen running. It’s just the way things are sometimes. We don't have a manager in a suit. We all just wear our regular clothes and get to work. The tables are wooden and we’ve had them for years. They’re strong. We serve water in steel tumblers. We like to keep things traditional because it feels more comfortable. We aren't looking to expand or anything; we just want to keep this one place running well for the neighborhood. It’s hard work, but we like being our own bosses. We finish up late and then get ready to do it again the next day.
