1947 Restaurant

Our restaurant is on the first floor of Max Mall on Kusugal Road. We are over in the Keshawapur area of Hubli. A good way to find us is to look for the SBI Zonal Office, as we are right beside it. Being in a mall means there is always a lot going on around us. We hear the sounds of shoppers and the general hum of the building all day long. We start early to get the kitchen ready for the lunch crowd. Hubli is a place where people appreciate a good meal without a lot of fuss. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we know the local area well. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and wiping down the tables before the doors open. It’s a regular routine that we’ve perfected over time. The mall can get really busy on the weekends, which means we are all running around quite a bit. During the week, it’s a bit more relaxed, with people coming in from the nearby offices. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just cook the food and serve it to whoever walks in. The location in Keshawapur is convenient for many, and we’ve become a part of the daily life for some of the folks working in the mall or the bank next door. It’s a steady job and we like the people we meet every single day.
