Travel Inn

Our inn is right on the Pune-Bangalore Road in Sattur. It’s the kind of place you look for when you’ve been behind the wheel for ten hours and your eyes are getting heavy. We aren't in a fancy part of town, just right there on the highway where the trucks roll by. Because of the road, there’s always a bit of dust in the air, so we are constantly cleaning the front area. The parking lot is big enough for buses and big cars, which is why people stop here. Inside, the rooms are very basic. You get a bed, a fan, and a bathroom that works. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who take turns at the desk. We see all kinds of people, from families on vacation to salesmen traveling between cities. Sometimes the noise from the highway makes it hard to sleep if you aren't used to it, but most people are so tired they don't notice. We have a small kitchen that does some simple breakfast and tea in the morning. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people seeing our sign from the road. It’s a straightforward business. We provide a place to crash for the night so you can get back on the road early the next day. We’ve been here for a good while.
