The Sigdi Restaurants

We are over at Hormuz baug, right by Desai Cross on Club Road in Hubli. The Sigdi Restaurants is basically right beside the LIC Building, so we are easy to spot if you are in the area. It is a busy part of town with lots of offices and traffic. We have been here for some time now, just doing our thing. The restaurant is not a large place, but we have enough tables for the lunch rush. Most of our customers work in the nearby buildings or are just passing through Club Road. The kitchen stays pretty warm because we are always cooking something. We do not have a fancy menu with photos or anything like that. It is just a list of what we can make. We get our vegetables from the market nearby every morning. The staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for a while. We do not have a lot of rules, we just want people to eat and go about their day. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the traffic picks up outside, but you get used to it. The floor is just tiles and we sweep them whenever they get dusty from the street. We do not do much advertising because people usually just see us while they are walking to the bank or the LIC office. It is just a practical place to get a meal in a busy neighborhood. We stay open until the dinner crowd finishes up.
