Talwara Kebab

Our shop is right on Saptapur main road in Dharwad. If you know where the Apollo Pharmacy is, we’re just opposite that. It’s a good spot because there’s always people walking by. We focus on kebabs, mostly cooking them over the heat until they're done right. It gets smoky in here sometimes, but that's part of the job when you're grilling meat all day. We started this because we wanted a place in Saptapur where you could get something quick to eat. The menu isn't huge, but we try to make sure everything on it is worth the price. We open up in the afternoon and stay busy until the night. Some days the meat is better than others, depending on what we get from the market in the morning. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or big signs. It’s just tables, chairs, and the grill. Usually, it's just a few of us working back there. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot. It’s a simple setup for folks who just want a plate of kebabs after work or college. We try to keep things clean, though with the charcoal and all, it's a constant battle. Just a local Dharwad joint doing what we know. There's not much more to it than that, really. It gets the job done and we keep it simple.
