Shri Manjunath Sagar Udupi Hotel

Our hotel, Shri Manjunath Sagar Udupi Hotel, is located on R N Shetty Road, which is part of the Gokul Road area in Hubli. We are quite close to the RNS School, so we see many parents and students passing by every morning and afternoon. We specialize in the Udupi style of cooking, which is what we know best. It’s a simple place where you can get a quick breakfast of idli or dosa before starting your day. The kitchen opens up very early because that is when the first customers start showing up. We have a few tables where people can sit and eat, but it’s often a bit of a squeeze when it’s busy. The staff here has been with us for a while, and we all work together to keep the orders moving. Hubli is a growing city, and Gokul Road has become much busier over the years. Even with all the changes, we’ve tried to keep things the same here. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny signs. People come because they like the way we make our sambar or because we are a convenient stop on their way to work. By the time we close up at night, we are usually pretty tired, but there is always prep work to do for the next day. It is a simple life of cooking and serving the community what we know how to make.
