Parag Restaurant

We’ve been running Parag Restaurant here in J C Nagar for quite some time now. Being right on Station Road in Hubli means there is always a lot of noise and people rushing to catch their trains. It gets pretty busy in the mornings when the early commuters start showing up looking for something to eat before they head out. We don’t have any fancy decorations or anything like that. The tables are just regular wood and the chairs are simple because people usually just want to sit down, eat, and get moving again. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud you can barely hear the person across from you, but that is just how it is living near the station. We spend most of our day in the kitchen or clearing plates. It is hard work and the floors need scrubbing constantly because of all the dust from the road. We see a lot of the same faces every day, mostly workers from nearby or people who live around Station Road. They know what to expect when they walk in. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place to get a meal and a cup of tea. Sometimes we run out of things if the market was slow that morning, but we just make do with what we have on hand. It’s a bit cramped when it rains and everyone crowds inside to stay dry, but we manage somehow.
