We are right on Station Road in Hubli, which is a place that never really seems to get any sleep. Our address is Hubli 580020. Being on Station Road means we are very close to the railway station, and you can always hear the trains or the announcements if the wind is blowing the right way. It’s a busy, noisy street full of people coming and going. There are always rickshaws lined up and people carrying heavy bags. We’ve been here for a long time now. The building is just a normal one on the row of shops. We see travelers from all over the country who have just stepped off a train. They usually look a bit tired. We also see the locals who work nearby. The traffic can be a real mess in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is here. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just us and the shop. Sometimes the power goes out, or it gets too dusty from the construction on the road, but we just keep going. It’s a very simple life. We don’t bother with anything too complicated. People know where we are because everyone knows Station Road. It’s the main link for the city. We just stay open and wait for the next train to come in and bring more people. It is a part of Hubli that just stays busy.
