Gurudatta Bhavan Restaurant

We are located in the Gurudatta Building right in the Vidyanagar area of Hubli. It is a bit of a busy spot especially when the sun is up. The restaurant is just a normal place where people from around 580021 come to sit for a bit. We don’t have any fancy signs or bright lights outside. It’s just Gurudatta Bhavan Restaurant. You might notice the paint is peeling a little on the corner of the building but that’s just how it is. Inside the tables are pushed together to make space. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic from the Vidyanagar streets coming in through the door. We don't really have a big staff just a few of us making sure things are okay. The kitchen is always going from early morning. Hubli can get quite dusty so we spend a lot of time wiping the counters. It is not some high-end place with a menu you can't read. It is simple food for people who live around here or are just passing through the Gurudatta Building. We see the same faces most days which is nice. There’s no big story about why we are here. We just opened up in this part of Vidyanagar and stayed. The fans hum all day to keep the air moving. If you are looking for something polished you probably won't find it here. We just do our work and go home to rest before doing it again.
