Kisan Jagrati Producer Company Limited

Down in Gram-Konda, which is part of the Kukshi tehsil, we have our small setup for Kisan Jagrati Producer Company Limited. We are based at Motilal Kalu Choyal’s place. It’s a very traditional village setting, and we like it that way. Most of us have been farming this land for generations. We decided to form this company because we wanted more control over how our produce gets handled. It's not a corporate office with glass walls; it's a house and a yard where we gather. We sit on the porch or in the main room and talk about what needs to happen next. There’s usually a lot of noise from the village going on outside. We deal with the seeds, the fertilizers, and getting the crops to the market. Some of our members don't have a lot of education, so we spend time explaining the forms and the prices to each other. It’s a group effort. We don't have a big budget for fancy things. Every rupee we save goes back into the work we do. If you come looking for us, just ask for Motilal’s place in Konda. Someone will point you in the right direction. We are just local people trying to make a living and help our neighbors do the same through honest agricultural work and a bit of cooperation among ourselves. It is a slow process but we are getting there one step at a time.
