Ajanta Saloon

We are located in Lohar Barwa, Barwadda, right in the Dhanbad Ho area. If you are looking for Ajanta Saloon, just head towards the G T Road and find the Timpo Stand. We are right near there. Being close to the tempo stand means there is always a lot of shouting and engines starting up right outside our door. It is a lively spot to be in most days. Our shop is small and has the basic things any barber needs. We have a couple of chairs and a shelf for the razors and creams. The mirror has a small crack in the bottom corner that has been there since the monsoon last year. We don't mind it much. People from the village and the drivers from the stand come in for a quick shave or a trim. We keep a radio playing some local music in the background to drown out the traffic a bit. The floor is concrete and we try to keep it clean, but with all the people coming in and out, it is hard to stay on top of it. There is a small plastic stool for anyone waiting for their turn. We don't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that wobbles a little when it is on high. It is a place where you can get a simple haircut for a fair price. We have been part of this community for years and know everyone's business. It is a decent way to earn a living.
