Kapoor Travles

Kapoor Travles is situated at No. 89 in Masoodpur, right along Nelson Mandela Marg in Vasant Kunj. It’s a great spot because so many people pass by on their way through the city. Our office is a small room where we keep all the travel schedules and car keys. We have a couple of old computers that we use to look up routes, though sometimes we just rely on the maps we have pinned to the wall. The traffic on Nelson Mandela Marg is almost always heavy, so there is a constant hum of engines outside our door. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure the cars are ready to go when someone needs a ride. It’s not a luxury travel agency with glossy brochures; it’s more of a local spot where people come when they need to get from one place to another without any fuss. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times we just sit and drink tea while waiting for the next booking to come in. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit worn out, but they are comfortable enough for a short stay. We’ve been in Vasant Kunj for quite some time and have seen the neighborhood change a lot, but our little travel shop stays pretty much the same. It’s just us doing our best to help people travel to wherever they need to go today.
