Oceanic Traveller

We sit here in Rohini at No. 239 in S Block. It’s a small office but we keep busy with tickets and trips. Most days it is just us answering the phone and trying to find the right dates for people. Travelling is a lot of work these days with all the paperwork and rules. We started Oceanic Traveller because we like seeing where people want to go next. Some people come in wanting a beach trip and others just need a bus ticket to see family. It gets noisy outside on the street in Sec 7 but inside we just focus on the computer screens. We don't have fancy furniture or anything. Just desks, chairs, and a lot of maps. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break. It's a regular job. We handle the bookings and try to make sure nobody gets stuck at an airport. Dealing with airlines can be a real headache. We have been in this spot for a while now. People in the neighborhood know where to find us. If you walk past the main block you will see the sign. It isn’t much but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the files. Other days the phone won't stop ringing and we stay late to finish up.
