Magnificent India

Magnificent India is based right near the Chatterpur Metro Station, specifically by the Ramlela Maidan. Being so close to the station means there is a never-ending stream of people walking past our door. You can hear the metro trains rumbling on the tracks every few minutes. It is a very lively part of Delhi to be in. The Maidan across the way is often used for events, so things can get quite loud and dusty during festival seasons. Our office is a simple room with a few chairs and a table. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some maps and a calendar. It gets very busy in the evenings when the commuters are heading back home. We often have people sticking their heads in just to ask for the time or where the nearest ATM is. The area has a lot of food stalls, so there is always the smell of something frying nearby. We keep the door open most of the time to get some air, even if it means a bit of noise comes in from the street. It’s a small space, and we mostly focus on our daily tasks without much distraction. We've seen a lot of changes in this neighborhood since the metro station opened up. It’s a convenient spot for us and for the people who need to find us. We just keep things moving along day by day.
