Aggarwal Travels India

Our office is over in the School Block area of Shakarpur, specifically at S-506. It’s a bit of a climb if you’re not used to the stairs in these buildings. We started Aggarwal Travels India because we knew the roads well and had a couple of cars to get people where they needed to go. These days, the phone rings quite a bit with people asking about bus tickets or wanting to rent a car for a wedding. Shakarpur is a busy place, and there’s always someone needing to catch a train or head out of town for the weekend. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and checking schedules. It’s not always easy keeping up with the traffic in Delhi, especially during the rains when everything slows down. Our desk is usually covered in papers and keys. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign or a friend told them we were okay to deal with. We try to be honest about how long a trip will take. If the driver is going to be late because of a jam at the border, we tell you. It’s just us working here, trying to keep the vehicles running and the customers satisfied. Sometimes we stay late waiting for a group to return. It’s a simple operation, really. Just helping people get from one point to another without making things complicated or expensive for them.
