Book My Travel is based in Sant Nagar. It’s a small office where we spend our time looking at maps, bus schedules, and train timings. It’s not a big fancy travel agency like you see in the movies. Our walls are covered with a few old calendars and maybe a map that’s seen better days. We’re usually busy on the phone or checking prices on the screen for someone who wants to visit their family or take a short trip. Sant Nagar is a lively place, so there’s always noise from the street coming in through the door. We don’t have a uniform or anything; we just come in and start working on the bookings. Some days are stressful when a flight gets canceled or someone changes their mind at the last minute, and we have to scramble to fix it. We try our best to get the details right, but it’s a lot of small numbers and dates to keep track of. People drop in to pick up their tickets or just to ask how much it would cost to go somewhere. We don’t have a website that’s super polished, we just prefer talking to people directly or over the phone. It’s a simple business. We help people get from one place to another without making a big deal out of it. It’s just what we do here in our corner of the neighborhood. We usually have a radio playing in the background to drown out the traffic noise from outside.
