News Cafe

We are located over at Vasant Kunj, specifically in units 311 and 314. News Cafe is basically our second home. It’s a pretty big space compared to some of the other shops around here. We spend a lot of our time making sure the chairs are lined up and the napkins are folded. It gets quite busy during lunch and dinner hours because of all the people shopping nearby. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, but it keeps the energy up for the staff. We’ve had the same group of people working here for a while now, so we know how to handle the rush without getting in each other's way. The kitchen is always a bit chaotic, which is normal for a place this size. We don't really try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a spot to sit down and have a meal. We deal with all sorts of customers, some who are very nice and some who are in a bad mood because of the traffic outside. Vasant Kunj always has a lot of cars, so getting to work can be a pain sometimes. We just focus on getting the food out on time. The menu stays mostly the same because that’s what people expect when they come through the doors. We like the routine of it. Every morning starts the same way with checking the inventory and making sure everything is ready for the first customer.
