Nahid Decorator

Nahid Decorator is based at 4132 in the middle of Chandni Chowk. If you’ve been to this part of Delhi, you know how incredibly packed it is. Our shop is surrounded by the sights and sounds of one of the oldest markets in the city. We do decoration work, mostly for local events and family gatherings. It is a colorful business, and our storage space is filled with fabrics, lights, and various props we’ve collected. We don't have a big marketing plan. Most people see our work at a function and ask for our number. Working in Chandni Chowk means you have to be good at navigating narrow lanes with heavy loads and carts. It’s a challenge every single day. We don’t have an office with air conditioning or fancy chairs. We usually meet people right there in the shop or go out to their venues. It’s a hands-on job. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the colors match up for the client. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and we’ve seen all sorts of trends come and go. We prefer to keep things practical and simple. It’s about making a space look right for the occasion without overcomplicating it. The market is loud and can be stressful, but there is a lot of life here that you won’t find anywhere else. We enjoy the chaos.
