We run our business out of J.P. Apartment, specifically at unit B-3 in Sector 2 of Rajender Nagar. That is located in the Sahibabad area of Ghaziabad. Since we are in an apartment building, it does not feel like a cold or empty corporate office. It feels more like a home-grown business where people actually know each other. Lal Chand and Company has been around this specific neighborhood for a long time now. We mostly deal with local trade and general supplies. It is not the kind of place where you will see anyone wearing a suit and tie. We are usually just in our casual clothes, sitting around the main table and sorting through various invoices and customer orders. The building is getting a bit older, but it is easy enough to find once you get yourself into Rajender Nagar. We know all the neighbors, and they know what we do. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow or not working, so we just take the stairs to get up to the office. It is a very straightforward way of working without any nonsense. We do not have any big mission statements or posters on the walls. We just try to get the day's work finished so we can head home. Some days are very slow, and we just sit and talk over a cup of chai. Other days are a mess, the phone will not stop ringing, and the paperwork piles up on the desks. It is just a regular small business life.
