Hectafine Alusystems India Ltd. is based out of C-21 in Ram Dutt Enclave. If you know Uttam Nagar in New Delhi, you know it’s a very busy and crowded area. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We work with aluminum systems, mostly for buildings and windows. It’s a lot of cutting, measuring, and fitting. The noise of the street is always there, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our space isn't huge, so we have to stay organized or we’d run out of room for the materials. We’re just a bunch of regular guys who know how to handle aluminum. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people just walking by and seeing what we do. It’s often dusty and loud, but that’s the nature of the business. The summers in Delhi are brutal, and working with metal doesn't make it any easier. We drink a lot of water and just keep going. We aren't looking to be the biggest company in the city. We just want to do a decent job for the people who hire us. Sometimes the narrow lanes of Uttam Nagar make it hard to get the trucks in, but we always figure it out. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s our daily life and we’re okay with it.
