Kipling Camp

You will find us at 18 Mandi Road in the Mehrauli area. It is a bit different from the center of the city. There is more space around here, though it is still quite busy. We have a setup that feels a bit more open. The daily routine involves a lot of outdoor tasks. We have to check the grounds and make sure everything is in order for whoever is coming to stay. There is a lot of dust because of the road, so cleaning is a constant job. We have a small staff and we all do a bit of everything. One minute we might be handling a booking and the next we are helping with a repair. Mehrauli has a lot of history, and you can feel that in the air. Our office is just a simple room with a desk and some ledgers. We prefer it that way. It’s quiet in the early mornings before the traffic starts up on Mandi Road. We spend time talking to the local suppliers who bring us what we need. It is a practical life. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us looking after the camp and making sure things run like they should. We have some old trees nearby that give a bit of shade. It’s a decent place to spend the day working. We like the slower pace compared to the inner city. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
