Highland Travels

We are located at N 29 in the Connaught Circus area of Connaught Place. It is the outer circle, so the traffic is always moving fast right outside our door. Our office is a small space where we keep our maps, computers, and a lot of notebooks. We have been at this N block spot for a long time. People usually walk in because they are already in CP for other things. We sit at our desks and try to make sense of all the different travel options available. It’s not always easy because things change fast. We use a lot of pens and paper still, despite the computers. There is something about writing things down that makes more sense to us. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We are more focused on getting the bookings right. We have a small bench for people to sit on while they wait. The tea man comes by twice a day and that is usually the highlight of the afternoon. It gets noisy with the buses and cars outside, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on the task in front of us. It’s a straightforward business and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is. The shelves are full of old guides and train schedules that we sometimes still look at. It's just a regular office life for us. We keep a light on in the back even when it's bright outside.
