Across Traveler

Across Traveler is situated at Nehru Marg in East Gorakh Park. Specifically, our location is at No. 1, 7756 FF, Plot No. 5, G. No. 1 A. Finding the building isn't too hard, and we are right there on the first floor. Our days are mostly spent booking tickets and figuring out travel routes. Maps and old travel posters cover the walls, though some are starting to curl at the edges. Since the office is a small space, it feels a bit cramped when several people come in at once. A few computers stay running all day, making a constant humming noise. Talking to people about where they want to go is the best part of the job. Sometimes it’s just a simple train ticket, while other times it’s a whole trip across the country. Fancy brochures with glossy photos aren't really our thing. Instead, we just look up the best options available and write them down for you. Outside on the street, it’s always noisy with people and cars passing by. Having been here for a while, we know the other shop owners on the block quite well. The atmosphere is very local. No big corporate structure exists here. It’s just us trying to help people get from one place to another without much trouble. Usually, we drink a lot of chai and stay until the last booking is confirmed. The office is basic, but it works for us and our customers.
