We are over at No. 29-30 in Db Gupta Market. It is usually pretty loud outside because of all the shoppers and traffic, but inside we just focus on getting people where they need to go. Most of our day is spent looking at flights and trying to figure out train schedules that actually make sense. People come in asking for a quick weekend away or maybe something longer for their family. We just sit at the desks here and try to get things sorted out for them. Sometimes the phones ring too much and other times it is quiet enough to actually have a tea. We’ve been in this market for a while now so we know the regulars who stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about a passport. It isn’t anything fancy. Just some computers, a lot of papers, and us trying to keep everything organized so nobody misses their flight. The stairs up to the market can be a bit of a climb but we are used to it by now. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking routes and making sure the names are spelled right on the tickets because that causes a real headache if it is wrong. It is mostly about getting the details right so people can just go on their trip without worrying about the small stuff. We keep some old travel magazines on the table for people to look at while we work.
