We've been sitting in this office at PVR Plaza in Connaught Place for a while now. Most days it’s just us answering phones and trying to figure out flight schedules for people who want to get away for a bit. It’s a busy spot, H-Block is always crowded, so we spend a lot of time looking out the window at the traffic while waiting for emails to load. We started Shape Vacations India Pvt. Ltd. because we liked traveling ourselves, though now we mostly just help other people do it. We handle hotel bookings and make sure the transport is sorted out. Sometimes things go wrong with the airlines, and we have to spend hours on hold, which is the less fun part of the job. Our office is on the second floor, so it's a bit quieter than the street level. We aren't a massive company with fancy uniforms or anything. It’s just a few of us here making sure the paperwork gets done. People come in to pick up their tickets or just to ask about prices for trips to the mountains or the beach. We try to keep things simple and don't use a lot of jargon. If a hotel is bad, we try to tell people honestly. It’s a regular day-to-day operation here in the middle of Delhi. We just keep the files organized and make sure the itineraries make sense before we send them out.
