The Poly Kids

The Poly Kids is located on Tej Bhadur Road in Dehradun, specifically at number 26/2. We are tucked away in Lane No. 4 of Dalanwala, which is a fairly well-known part of the 248001 area. The street is usually lined with trees, so it feels a bit different than the main busy roads. Our school is focused on the little kids who are just starting their education journey. The building has a few rooms that we’ve filled with colorful mats and play areas. It isn’t some massive campus, just a local house that we converted for the children. Most days, you will hear a lot of singing or the sound of blocks falling over. The staff here are mostly mothers themselves who live in the Dehradun area. We have a small outdoor space where the kids can run around for a bit if the weather is nice. Dehradun gets a lot of rain, so we often have to keep everyone inside when the clouds break. We don't use any fancy corporate language or have big meetings about strategy. We just figure out the activities for the week and try to keep the kids happy and safe. The parents usually live just a few lanes away, so we see them every day at the gate. It is a simple, practical school without any unnecessary extras. We just focus on the daily routine and making sure the kids are learning their basics. It works for the families in our little corner of the city.
